I don’t know many people who would describe 2020 as anything less than a rough year. On a particularly difficult day around this time last year, I went on a long jog in the woods during a light winter rain. There, among the trees, I wrote a poem–as one does. A poem that I am excited to share in this anthology alongside many other talented writers and poets.
